New CD out now: "Muktalef" (different) feat. Fatma Zidan
The music of this new release is our own compositions mixed with old traditional arabian songs and melodies. As before the new CD contains a mozaik of oriental ornaments with a devotion to the arabian maqmaat - and the universal Middle Eastern Rhythms. Guest artist on the new CD will be Fatma Zidan - well known from her concerts with DRU and her Egyptian ensemble as the final concerts at "Images of the Middle East 2006".
FROM BERLIN TO BEIRUT...
…is a live recording from Prix Europa 2004, the festival of the European Broadcasting Union. Oriental Mood was invited to play at the opening of the festival in Berlin, on Oct. 16, 2004 - beginning the tour ”From Berlin to Beirut” with concerts in Denmark, Germany, Egypt, Syria and The Lebanon.
